About Me

Where Bluebirds Fly Photography is a business that’s all about the possibilities of babies! Through playful yet artful pregnancy, birth, and newborn photography, Where Bluebirds Fly helps you capture a visual memory of the moments in which you understand the wealth of opportunities and experiences that lie ahead of any new life. Prepare to relive those times of hope and excitement with professional portrait sessions by a low-key, friendly photographer who’s delighted to help preserve this important moment in the growth of your family.

Newborn sessions, maternity portraits, and birth photography are best trusted to a specialized professional photographer, which is exactly what Where Bluebirds Fly offers to parents. After three years of experience professionally photographing families, seniors, kids, weddings, and more, photographer Jennifer Brandt turned her lens exclusively on the joyful, tender, and promising moments centered around bellies, births, and babies.

These emotional moments are in line with the mission of Where Bluebirds Fly, which draws its name from the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” a song that captures the endlessness of hope and potential. This was the last song Jen ever danced to with her father, Ken Martin, who was her biggest fan, always held her when she cried and laughed with her until they both cried, and told her she could do whatever she wanted in life. This relationship, plus those with her own three children, gives Jen a special understanding of parents’ hopes for their kids and joy in anticipating their growth – hopes and dreams that her photos hint at as they capture the occasions that will make your family infinitely closer.

A farmer’s wife with a long career as a paramedic and emergency nurse, Jen has been delighted to turn her creativity exclusively to photographing children of one and under (and their new or expectant parents) in friendly, relaxed sessions. Let her growing studio reflect your growing family in portraits with the sensitivity and spontaneity to always remind you of the endless possibilities that come with a new child.
